Friday 18th May was the official opening of the MAMA Art Foundation National Photography Prize 2018, a well-attended evening with over 80 people in attendance.
Guest Judge Isobel Parker Phillips, Head Photography Curator AGNSW was in attendance and presented Amanda Williams with her $30,000 winning prize. Amanda’s work Cooleman Plain Karst, Kosciuszko National Park (know who you are at every age), 2017-2018 will now be part of the MAMA collection.
The John and Margaret Baker $5000 emerging artist award went to Ioulia Terizis with her work Slivers and Shard, 2017.
